Fluconazole is a very widely used antifungal agent. Do not stop taking Diflucan right away. It in moderation while taking Diflucan. Continue taking Diflucan and talk to your doctor. Fluconazole appears to be a safe and effective treatment for cutaneous leishmaniasis. Diflucan should not be taken in allergy to Fluconazole or other anti fungal azole preparations. Fluconazole is a triazole antifungal agent that can be administered orally or parenterally.
